The Quality Craft

Journey into Software Quality Excellence

About Me

Welcome to The Quality Craft.
I’m Phuong Chu, a Software Quality Assurance with a passion for understanding what truly makes great software.

I don’t define myself as a manual QA, automation QA, performance, security, or QA Ops specialist.
For me, quality assurance is a holistic journey.
If ensuring quality means understanding the business, I dive into the business.
If it involves automation, performance testing, security, or even DevOps, I learn what’s needed to see how everything connects — how each piece contributes to building better software.

I’m not someone who tries to learn everything just for the sake of it.
My goal is to see the bigger picture — to understand how all aspects come together to create truly high-quality software products.

To me, quality assurance isn’t a destination — it’s a journey.
One of continuous learning, exploration, and discovery.
Every day brings a new chance to uncover better ways to build, test, and care for software that people can trust and love.

So, why the name “The Quality Craft”?
Because I believe quality assurance is not just a job — it’s a craft, even an art form.
It’s where curiosity meets creativity, where we experiment, adjust, solve problems, care, and monitor with the same sensitivity and finesse that any craft demands.

This blog is my personal space to document that journey — the lessons I’ve learned, the ideas I’m exploring, and the thoughts I want to share along the way.
I also hope it becomes a place to connect with others who share the same mindset — people who are passionate about software quality and continuous improvement.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to have you along for the journey.
Subscribe to stay updated whenever I share something new — and let’s walk together on the path toward quality excellence.
